Interactive Recognition If you participate in more than one different program event, you should read this… Something new that Tri-State launched in 2006 was the beginning of an interactive participation program.  Currently each of our event programs have their own protocol of recognizing its exhibitors and their accomplishments through awards at the events, and also with Year-End awards, with recognition being specific to that program’s events: i.e. Dressage, Hunter Pace, Open Show, or Trail.   The purpose of the interactive participation award is to recognize the overall all-around member who actively participates in multiple Tri-State programs and takes advantage of all that we have to offer.  Obviously, the rider must be a current Tri-State Member while participating in each program’s events to be considered for this award.  Keep in mind that your membership starts on the postmark date, or the date when handed in person. Participation eligibility is not retroactive. There is nothing to sign up for, nor any additional form to fill out other than each event's normal entry form.  All we ask is that you be consistent with the names of yourself and your horse: use the same spelling throughout the season. The recipient(s) of the award(s) will be announced at the Annual Awards Banquet. Participation in two (2) different program events will qualify you and your horse for consideration in this award of the highest distinction and honor for an active Tri-State member.  The eligibility period for participation in this program for 2009 started October 1, 2008 and will run through September 30, 2009.
