This division is open to horses and ponies. Drivers that are age 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Removal of the bridle while the horse/pony is between the shafts while in the ring means instant elimination. The harness and cart/carriage must be in safe condition. Bridles must have a noseband or cavesson.
Reinsmanship: Judged primarily on the skill of the driver. To be judged 75% on handling of reins and whip, control, posture, and overall appearance; 25% on the condition and fit of the harness, cart/carriage, and attire.
Pleasure: Judged primarily on the suitability of the horse/pony to provide a pleasant drive. To be judged 70% on performance, manners and way of going; 20% on the condition and fit of the harness and cart/carriage; and 10% on neatness of attire.
