Class Awards: The 1st place rider in each class will receive an award. The appropriate ribbons will be awarded to 1st – 8th place riders in each class.


Overall Dressage High Percentage Award: A day end high percentage award to the horse/rider team competing in the Dressage classes, earning the highest percentage score in any Dressage test. Exhibitor must be present in the event of a tie.

TSHA Dressage Seat Equitation Classic: Open to all riders.  Rider must be a TSHA member.  Medium walk, working trot and canter both ways of the ring must be performed.  The rider’s position, seat and specifically the correct use and effect of the aids required by the Training and First Level Dressage tests are to be judged.  The movements shall be performed by the exhibitors simultaneously, however, the judge may ask for independent tests of the following: Transitions from trot to halt and halt to trot with or without stirrups; Stretching long and low on a 20 meter circle at the trot; Serpentine at the trot.  No change of horses shall be required.  Spurs are allowed, no whips are allowed.  Horses shall be shown in an approved bit (see rules).  The size of a group shall be limited to no more than 25 riders.  Groups may be divided into smaller sections, at the discretion of the judge.  The judge may limit the number of horses required to canter at the same time.  Only the rider is judged, however, lameness of the horse will result in elimination.  An Award and 1st – 6th place ribbons will be awarded.
