57 Hampton Hill Open Equitation Classic: A Walk-Trot-Canter equitation classic open to all disciplines and open to riders of any age on horses or ponies. This will be judged as a 2-phase class. The 1st phase will consist of rail work. The judge will select no more than 10 riders to complete a pattern of his/her (the judge’s) choice for the 2nd phase. The pattern will not be posted.
67 Prospect Hill Farm Hunter on the Flat Pleasure Classic: A Walk-Trot-Canter hunter pleasure classic open to riders of all ages on horses or ponies.
115 Van Dzant Walk-Trot Am-Pro Open Equitation Classic: Open to Walk-Trot riders of any age and Professionals age 18 & over, in all disciplines. No person, EXCEPT THE PROFESSIONALS, entering any class requiring a canter will be eligible for this classic. This class will be judged on equitation. This is a two-rider class. The amateur will ride the first way of the ring, while the professional remains in the middle. A change of rider will then take place in the ring, and the professional will ride the second way of the ring. Professionals will be asked to perform a simple test such as dropping the stirrups, western riders posting, English riders sitting, etc. in addition to normal Walk-Trot rail work. The amateur will remain in the middle of the ring while the professional rides. No communication is allowed during the rider change from inside or outside of the arena. Awards will be made to both the professional and the amateur. This class will be double judged by the judges from both rings, with classes in one ring being suspended while this class is run. One rider must be a professional and the other must be a Walk-Trot rider.
