2008 Barn Rules

Stall and camp reservations for the 1st show will be accepted starting with a POSTMARK DATE of May 10, 2008.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  All Reservations must be mailed and any received with a postmark prior to May 10 will be INVALID and returned for re-submittal with no consideration of the earlier date received. Reservations for the 2nd and 3rd shows will be accepted with a POSTMARK DATE of no sooner than the MONDAY after the previous show.  Stalls will be assigned on a first-come, first-paid basis and locations assigned are at the discretion of the Barn Managers.


1. All stall and camper reservation fees must be paid in full prior to the show. No blank or post-dated checks will be accepted. Any returned check will cause forfeiture of the stalls and/or camps it covered.

2. All stall reservation forms must list horse’s name, owner’s name or its use as a tack stall. No empty stalls may be reserved. Reservations not in compliance will be marked incomplete and returned with no consideration of earlier date. Barn Manager reserves the right to limit the number of tack stalls requested.

3. No horses will be allowed on the grounds until 1:00 PM. on the Friday afternoon of the show. Those in violation will not be permitted to unload horses or any equipment until 1:00 PM. Campers are not allowed on the grounds until Friday at 9:00 AM.

4. Refunds for stall/campsite reservations will be considered only in cases where the Barn Manager has been contacted and notified of the cancellation on or before the SATURDAY prior to the show. You must confirm ONLY with the Barn Manager.(click to confirm before the Saturday prior to the show).

5. Names and stall numbers will be posted at the show. There is no sub-letting or resale of stalls allowed.  Any exhibitor using an unassigned stall, or one assigned to another exhibitor, or tampering with the stall assignments, will be charged a $85.00 stall fee and asked to vacate the stall. Failure to comply will result in being moved out of said stall by the Barn Manager and future barn privileges will be revoked.

6. No person shall enter any stall other than their own without the express permission of the owner.  Violators will be escorted from the show grounds.

7. Do not touch or feed other people’s horses without express permission from the owner/exhibitor.

8. Crossties must be removed for a horse to pass. Do not ask another exhibitor to go under the ties. Absolutely no horses or ponies left unattended on crossties.

9. Do not block the aisle with equipment or horses.  Two horses must be able to pass in the aisle at all times.

10. No mounting or riding of horses in the barn aisles or stalls.  No use of whips in the aisles. Abuse of horses will not be tolerated anywhere on the grounds.

11. No smoking is allowed in the barn. This is a Falls Creek Farm Regulation and failure to comply results in expulsion from the show grounds by authorities.

12. No grilling or open fires are permitted anywhere in the barns.

13. Do not overload the electrical outlets or use extension cords in an unsafe manner (ie: strung across the aisles or multiple items plugged in at same time).

14. Lights will be shut off in the barn and the arena at 11:00 P.M. or one-half hour after the last class of the evening is completed, whichever comes first.

15. Bedding is not provided. You may bring your own or purchase when available from Falls Creek Farm. Manure is to be disposed of in designated areas

16. Do not block water taps either with show curtains or equipment. All exhibitors in an area may use hoses left on a water tap.

17. All hosing/washing of horses must be done in the wash stalls. You must clean up after your horse in the wash stall.
