Open Equitation Division: Open to horses and ponies. Open to riders of any age except Short Stirrup or Med/Long Stirrup exhibitors. Boots and bandages are permitted in these equitation classes. To be judged on the rider’s seat, hands, the performance of the horse and suitability of horse and rider. Over fence classes are judged on rider’s ability to maintain the correct position over fences.

Class 27 - TSHA Hunt Seat Open Equitation Medal: Open to horses & ponies and riders of all ages. Small/medium ponies to jump 2’0”, large ponies to jump 2’3”, and horses to jump 2’6”.Exhibitor must be a TSHA member to compete in this event. Class is to be judged equally on flat work & fences. Exhibitors placing 1st thru 4th at the June or July show will qualify for the TSHA Medal Finals to be held at the August show (at no charge). There will not be a qualifier class at the August show, only the Finals will be in August. The first thru fourth place winners who qualify at the June show may not compete at the July show. The Medal Final winners will be announced at the Banquet.
